Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss

Daughter’s age when read: 3 years old

A couple of months ago my daughter’s preschool did a Dr. Seuss week and were reading his books at school.  So when I went to the library I checked out a bunch of his books.  For the past 2-3 weeks Green Eggs and Ham has been my daughter’s favorite book.  She gets to choose 3 books to read at bed time and so far every night this has been one of them.  She wants to read it multiple times a day and I notice when I’m busy se will “read” it to herself.  I have to admit of all the Dr. Seuss books I’ve read to her this is the one I prefer the most as well although some parts are somewhat of a tongue twister.  Some of the others were torturous for me to read and they are not short books compared to her other books.  The library copy was due back but fortunately I was able to get our own copy at the used bookstore.
